Change Kitsap Branch Name to Peninsula Branch GH2736
Long time members of the branch did not think Kitsap captured the true nature of the branch's membership, so voted to rename to Peninsula branch. I expect some increase in membership from the Olympic Peninsula, where more people will feel like this is "their" branch. I do not think this will be significant in the overall scale of membership, of which Kitsap is a small part.

Reference: BAKER’S DOZEN Offered by the Bellingham Branch, asks that you climb no more than 5 peaks per year to achieve this, but since I will be just short of 65 next year when I attempt it, I was wondering if an exception might be made for seniors, since we may not live long enough for multi-year attempts.1 voteHi Charlee, Where do you see the info re: 5 peaks a year? If so we should update it because that doesn’t sound quite right and should be modified. This is where I normally find information about the peak pin requirements. Improve (Prevent) Header Switching When Viewing Content SD632
As a site visitor keep the universal header selection and global (section or subsite?) header (The Mountaineers or Mountaineers Books) displayed until I choose to switch so that I do not have a jarring navigation experience while I am browsing the site.

I was dreaming about how to improve tracking donor communications and acknowledgements and came up with an idea.
From a salesforce opportunity I would love to have the option to initiate acknowledgment and thank you communications directly from Salesforce. They come in two forms:
- Generating a thank you email to the donor directly from salesforce based off of a selected template (selected based on gift) with the ability to customize before sending. Separate Site Search Results for Images SD644
In the site search, place all search results except images in one "tab" and images in another.
We also have a lot of folders, especially ones titled, "Images" and "Resources," so we may want to have "tab" for folders too or rank them low in search results.
This will help rank more important items higher in the search (e.g. a person's profile page above their profile image).

Create online credit card intake form for credit cards for all rental clients
Hey Jeff,
I'm putting this here to request we make an online form that will allow our rental clients to submit credit card information and to authorize we charge their card for rental deposits and final payments. This eventually needs to be a broader conversation with Gabriella and Barbara because they actual do the charging and I collect the information.
Benefits:
- Reduced time in playing phone tag with clients.Better experience with clients and faster turn-around time between inquery/booking/deposit/final payment

1 voteGarrett: For security reasons, we cannot store credit card information on our local computers, local servers, or our website. This is why we have the “Organization & Online Invoicing” project, http://feedback.mountaineers.org/forums/273688-general-feedback/suggestions/17914396-organizations-online-invoicing-sd562.
We can do it on paper, but even that is a “no no” as far as credit card security is concerned. Paper is somewhat acceptable, because the credit card information may be redacted or the paper destroyed.
I just talked to Barbara and there is a possibility of using Acumatica for invoicing until we get the website project done. It’s not exactly what you requested, but it should help quite a bit.

Promo Codes: Dollar Amount Discount for "Entire" Shopping Cart SD410
As a site visitor allow me to use a promo code that gives me a dollar amount discount on everything in my shopping cart up to the total amount of items in my shopping cart that qualifies.
This could be quite useful for volunteer recognition.

Promo Code: Bulk Discount for Purchasing from a Series SD484
As a site visitor let me use a promo code to get a bulk discount when I purchase a bunch of items from the same series (e.g. books in the Day Hiking series or backpacking courses/clinics). So we define "series" as any group (or bundle) of items of any kind (books, courses, etc.) that have to be in the cart for the discount to be applied.

Selecting from the Dropdown
When you select from the search/suggestions box ("You May Also Like" section, for instance), it jumps around and makes it hard to select with precision.
For example, as admin when I try to create a discount code and I need to add multiple items with the keyword "mountain", it is next to impossible to scroll and pick a tile that is in-between transitions.
Another example is "Recommended Reading" on many of our content types.

Flag and Ask about Employer match in shopping cart for membership and/or donation GH2677
Flag and ask about employer match in the shopping cart if it contains a membership or donation amount (mostly like we already do sans employer if a donation amount is specified) and sync that to Salesforce.

Improve Activity Edit Form (sea kayak fields plus pace)
We re-ordered fields to make more sense when listing the activity. Improved and added help text to some of the fields.
We added three fields for kayakers, maximum wind, maximum waves and maximum current. We also added a free form field for pace of the activity.
