Improve Event Detail Page View GH2927
Improve the event detail page view so that it is more like those for other views like activities, courses and lodge stays. There will be some small re-organization of basic information (e.g. remove phone number), the addition of a tabbed nav area--Location (map and address), Roster (for carpool organization), and Details (mostly info for volunteers)--and showing recommended reading.
Completed Jun 2022. See our Tech Update 4.3 blog post for more info: https://www.mountaineers.org/blog/tech-update-4-3-selling-tickets-to-events.

Great idea! This could make the difference in whether or not to attend an event that is some distance away by allowing me to see if someone else from my area is going so I can carpool.

in particular for cross branch events this would be super useful. For the activity summits they are often listed by one branch or by staff so its impossible to follow up with other admins in other branches or to know if your co-chair got their RSVP in. This in turn is more work for staff listing these events or the event contacts.
That said for big events like Meet the Mountaineers i don't need to see all 350 registrants. As the event organizer it'd be nice to be able to pick whether i want to allow event participants to see other rsvps

YES YES YES - this would be super helpful. and if you were bringing a guest that you didn't know of it could just say Tess Wendel +1 or Tess Wendel +3

This is a great idea. It will encourage people to sign up when they see others they know are going. Thanks for adding this as a possibility!

The way these events are set up on the website is such that we cannot see the roster of attendees as we can in most other events. This resulted in 5-6 people from Olympia driving 5-6 cars instead of carpooling as we normally would do to the July 15, 2019, Tacoma E&I listening session.
Is there a way to allow for participants to see the event rosters?
