Add Rosters or Counts to Peak and Paddle Pins
When I go to a peak pin or scramble in award, I'd like to see either, a count of recipients or a list of names. This would be similar to the front runners list in peak bagger but only show those who have the badge/award.
Not everyone uses peakbagger and not everyone on peakbagger is a Mountaineer.
For example, if I looked at the 5 Majors, Olympia Copper Boot, Inlets Paddle Pin, Seattle Mountaineers Clubhouse, Smoots 25, etc., it would be great to see either a count of people who've earned it, or better yet, the list of names. I…

Make Trip Reports viewable only by those with a Mountaineers account
I'm a trip leader. While composing a Mountaineers trip report, I include the type of information and photos that would be beneficial to another Mntnrs trip leader planning a similar trip or to a Mntnrs member considering that type of trip as a participant. I submit a trip report because I want to support the Mountaineers community and not because I want the world at-large to know about my trip. badge clarification
make sure badges actually have a person attatched to maintaining them. Some of the applications are quite extensive and if a person doe an application for a badge and never hears back, that is very frustrating. Also, there are a lot of badges people can get, we should highlight these and celebrate, also each activity should know what badges their branch offers and have budget money to do award celebrations.

Customizing Branch-Specific Blog Ribbons
Create a feature that allows branches to have more customization privileges over their branch-specific blog ribbon. Often, staff-created blogs will receive the "All Branches" tag, and a branch's specific blog (like an upcoming branch event) will get buried beneath other org update blogs (and in some cases, entirely removed from the branch blog ribbon due to the amount of newer content).
2 votesThis idea is moving to priority. At a minimum, we can look to see how our registration emails can be reformatted for phone/email providers to recognize the event for easy auto-saving.

Photo Captions and Credit for Images
Give authors photo credit and add captions to image son our website. Just small text underneath the photo for a brief caption and photographer credit.

I wanted to provide an update on this item! Since this idea was set to 'in-progress' we have been able to fulfill the following:
- Images used in blogs have a caption on them that provides credit to the photographer.
- Images used within the body of web pages are able to give photographers credit through the use of alt text when you hover over the image.
What we are still missing is the ability to give credit for images used in routes/places and on some landing pages. This task ended up being larger than expected and was unable to be completed during the most recent development window. We are changing the status of this idea to 'Priority' instead of 'Complete' so that we can schedule this outstanding step in the future.
