Make it easier to view past Participation Notes for all Participants on a Roster GH2763
From the activity roster it would be helpful to have a quick link to go participation notes. Right now its about 4 clicks from the activity to view someone's participation notes. This is tedious to do for 12 people on a roster. Viewing participation notes is helpful for trip planning and ensuring safety of a trip and mitigate any negative group dynamics.

Where do we find this "site search" on the website? The link you provided works exactly like the magnifying glass. A site search still means an additional search = more work. Will a "complete member directory" provide leaders with a list of activity and course history for participants? If it doesn't, then it'll be useless for that purpose and we will still have to use the magnifying glass or a "site search."

Here's why: a name search with the magnifying glass does not always produce results in chronological order. You have to scroll down that first page and click on page 2 (or page after page) for the next ten items to find the profile name in red, click it in order to find the activity list, then you have to click "My Activities" to see the list. Clicking on an activity at the Search Results page creates even MORE work because all you get is a description of the activity itself, nothing about the participant unless the leader opens the roster for that trip. AND the Search Results page does not indicate the activity date - you have to click the activity to find out. I can only imagine the time needed if a leader wants to see a participant's status on a certain trip date, but the person had done that same trip several times. This is all way too much work that should not be necessary.
As with Course rosters, we should be able to "Review" Activity participants' history quickly and easily directly from the current trip roster page.
Being able to easily view participants' club activity history not only enables leaders to better judge the overall group strength, they will be able to spot participant red flags - such as several turn arounds - the leader can then choose to contact the participant for more info. Keeping that in mind, the "Leader Permission" as it is now with the new website still presents problems unless leaders can easily and quickly verify information.
