"Suggested Alternate Activities" when Registering for the Waitlist
It would be great if we could have "suggested alternate activities" pop-up when someone registers for the waitlist on an activity. This might look like the page that shows of recommended books. Alternate activities would be of similar difficulty, they would have availability, and they would be open or upcoming. The hope would be to try to get folks off our waitlist and into activities with availability.

Thank you for submitting the idea! This was reviewed and while we agree it could help some members find activities, it is unfortunately not something we are in the position to pursue at the moment. Our current plan is to prioritize improvements to our activity search filter and sorting capabilities to help members more easily find activities. We believe that this will help members find multiple activities that are relevant to them to hopefully find alternatives if an activity is on a waitlist.

When someone registers for an activity or event, it would be cool that on the registration confirmation page (and email) that suggested/recommended similar activities/events. This would help our members think about other committees within the club and help them grow.

Hmmm... people are searching, so presumably they would find what they want and register for something with availability if they found it, so I am not sure how this helps. We do have a couple ideas for added filters that (1) show only activities that have availability (for leaders/instructors and/or participants) and (2) show only ones for which the person logged in has met the prerequisites.
