Option for "Closed" vs "Open" Activities
There needs to be a better way to handle closed activity sign-ups such as SIG-only outings. When hunting for activities, it is frustrating how many of the outings are actually closed events for a set group of people and not open to the public. Surely there's a way to remove these closed events from the publicly searchable activities board.

Daniel,
We do fully understand what Emily requested, and we already have a way to do that. If a leader lists activities that are only for their course's students only, they can and should list them under their course so that only their students will see them. As you can imagine, it can be quite difficult to get volunteers to always get this right.
We do rely on everyone helping us get the word out. Please do feel free to pass this on to leaders you see listing activities this way or send a link to the to our Member Services Team, info@mountaineers.org, so they can help correct the the listing and educate our leaders.
Thanks!
Jeff

Jeff - I don't think this is what Emily is suggesting. The problem is that there are many activities list that say things such as 'For Kitsap Students Only', and the leaders won't let you attend even if there is availability,
