Post application not registration dates for courses.
When a course requires you to "apply" BEFORE you can "register,"it is much more important to know the date when applications begin rather than the date for registration. If someone reads "registration begins November 4th" they might return to the page on November 4th thinking they can register for it when they can't unless they're application has already been accepted.

Agreed, but I would add it rather than replace and also so that it shows not only on the course page but also from the navigation tree. Ideally-right above or below where the registration date in that appears in red on the sidebar.
