Develop Location Filters for Event Calendar
This feedback pertains to the functionality of the event calendars that manage physical space allocations at our program centers.
One of the current challenges is the difficulty in quickly assessing space availability. The process of manually reviewing each event on the calendar to identify when a particular room is free is inefficient and tedious.
To address this, I would like to propose the implementation of a filtering feature. This would allow users to select one or more specific spaces and view only the events scheduled within them. By isolating the schedules for particular rooms, we could instantly see when they are booked and when they are available.
Introducing this functionality would streamline the reservation process, save considerable time for users, and reduce the potential for scheduling errors.
This has been completed! Seattle Program Center and Tacoma Program Center calendars to book space now have a filter that will update the calendar results based on the rooms selected.
