Create tracking system for behavior complaints filed on the website
When a behavior complaint is filed it sends an email to staff but the information in the form is not compiled anywhere allowing the organization to track total number of complaints per year and type of complaints easily. At a minimum there should be an excel/csv report that compiles this information similar to the incident report spreadsheets that are created.

"Subscribing To" or "Liking" a Newly Posted Activity To Receive Updates About It
The activity email notification is great but often times it notifies me of activities that have been posted but are not open for registration.
It would be great if I, as a hopeful participant, am notified about an activity I'd like to register for at some point. If I could "like it" or show interest by "subscribing" to the activity that way I can get updates if anything changes regarding the activity (e.g., roster fills, registration date changes, trip cancelled, etc.). The number of "likes" or "subscribers" could be visible on the activity page to notify other participants of levels…

Rate Hike Preferences
I get daily emails describing upcoming Mountaineers hikes but for the most part they are too challenging or too long for me. I joined GoHike this year to find out about shorter hikes. I prefer hikes that are less than 10 miles. I think if would be great to be able to choose in preferences: Hikes less than 10 miles or Hikes greater than 10 miles/ strenuous.

Notify course participants when new field trip/lecture within the course is posted
Once a course is live, leaders can add new field trips and lectures to the course offering. However, participants are often unaware of these additions unless course or activity leaders notify them manually through email or other channels. The Youth Team is currently exploring solutions to automatically notify course students when new activities are added. This system could eventually be expanded to adult courses as well, reducing the administrative burden on leaders by ensuring participants are automatically informed via email.

Update All Forms with Rich Text Fields
Most forms on the website today use a Text field instead of Rich Text. For Equivalency applications and other long forms, this makes it difficult for the intended audience to read the submissions given all formatting is removed.

Notifications based on saved searches
The current method of defining notifications is basic and, simply put, inflexible. It is possible to get notifications based on varies high level criteria (e.g. branch, activity type) but that doesn't mean that the notifications will be meaningful since there are many criteria that can be filtered on in the activity search. It should be possible to create search criteria and save those such that you're notified any activity that matches that criteria. This would save people time by since they won't need to manually filter the activities in the notifications based on this additional criteria.
This would supercede https://feedback.mountaineers.org/forums/273688-general-feedback/suggestions/49808195-alerts-notifications-preferences-for-audience…

Improve Functionality for Overlapping Enrollment Badges
Today, enrollment badges work as follows:
- When someone is added to a course with an "enrollment" badge - they are added to that badge's roster and the expiration date is set based on that course.
- If a student is added to a course with an enrollment badge that they already have - the badge's expiration date is updated to reflect whatever the newest course's expiration date is.
- Once a student completes a course, the enrollment badge is removed. It does not matter what course originally created the badge and/or what the expiration date.
It is uncommon for courses to share…

Allow markup formatting for Carpool Preferences notes
The Carpool Preferences widget provides a "notes" section which allows for free-form content to be provided by the users. This can provide useful information for other participants such as the type of car, passes you have, expected reimbursement rates, etc. A participant may organize this information so it's easily consumed by the reader. The problem is that the formatting is only preserved when viewing the "notes" section in the edit view. When a participant tries to read it, all formatting is removed (e.g. newlines are removed) which can make it very difficult to read the content. This undoes any attempt…

Display discounted pricing for Books/Activities
Right now, if you change the price of a book or activity for a "sale", there is no way to distinguish that new sale price for the past regular price. The ask is to create a way to clearly call out discounted prices.

Change Author Contributor Types to Match Onyx
The contributor types that the website can accept and that Onyx accepts differ. This requires the team to select a certain role to sync to Onyx and then change it to sync to the website. The reason they are different is so that the website contributors reads "Photography by __" vs. "Photographer __'. If we can separate the way that Acumen syncs with the website from what is presented on the web page we should be able to use the roles Onyx requires.

Provide a way to tell if leader has unread feedback
Currently, there is no indication if a participant has submitted feedback after a leader has viewed the feedback. Personally, I check for feedback a few days after the activity, and if someone adds feedback after that I probably won’t ever see it.

Exportable PDF Feedback Reports
BACKGROUND
I have the ability to see my feedback history. As a committee admin I have the ability to see a portion of the feedback history for anyone who has led a trip for my committee. I cannot see the feedback history for someone who has led trips for some other committee.
USE CASE
As a Leadership Chair for various committees (current and past) I review leadership applications. Often these prospective leaders are already leaders for another branch and/or committee. As part of the feedback gathering process, it is important for me as the Leadership Chair to gather as much…

Add a menu option for "My Committees"
Currently users can get to their committee pages by going to "My Profile" and clicking on the appropriate link. This works fine for experienced website users. The logical place to look for your committees is through the "My Branch" page, but this is tedious and requires scrolling through all the committees and subgroups in the branch. Please add a menu option for "My Committees" that will take all users directly to a list of their committees (or even to the section of their profile with the links).

demographics updates
I noticed that my demographic in my member profile had the wrong age group (unfortunately I continue to age). I only noticed it because I've been doing website testing today. Maybe there can be a prompt (or even a forcing function) for members to review their entire profile including preferences and demographics annually, as I'm sure other things change for members as well (marital status, activity interests, student status, etc). Maybe a button to go along with the waiver that forces them to scroll through their profile and select "I have reviewed and updated my profile" or something like that.

Add profile link to roster
There is a companion issue that made names clickable in the roster on the website: https://feedback.mountaineers.org/forums/273688-general-feedback/suggestions/8764993-make-names-on-roster-open-their-profile-so-you-can
Here, I would like a column added to the CSV roster export with the link to someone's profile. There's currently a column for whether the profile is private or not, but no column with the actual profile link.
This would serve the same purpose as the clickable name. In Excel, it will detect that these are links and make them clickable. That makes it easier for me to navigate to someone's profile.

Add the option to have hosts notified by e-mail when people register for a lodge stay
I would like the ability for hosts to elect to receive E-mails when a new person registers or cancels a lodge stay.

Export feature for My Activities and My Courses and Programs lists
Add export features (to CSV or Excel) to enable members to easily export lists of Activities and Courses (historical and active/posted in the future). It could be similar to rosters Export option.

Carbon Offsets for Travel to Mountaineers Trips During Participant Registration Process
This feedback is to request that IT work the conservation and development teams to make changes to The Mountaineers website and sign-up/check-out process for all Mountaineers trips to allow registrants the option to partially offset their transportation-related carbon associated their travel by donating to a Mountaineers Carbon Footprint Reduction campaign. In addition to the donation ask, we would also like to allow registrants to share if they plan to carpool or if they will use an electric vehicle to travel to the activity. We understand this would take time, resources, and have implications for existing fundraising efforts. Thank you for…

Allow trip leaders to require additional skill/course badges per trip
Currently, the trip templates set the course or skill badges required for participants (or other leaders) to sign-up for trips. The problem is that these only specify the minimum set that could apply to that template.
I would like, as a trip leader, the ability to require specific badges on a per-trip basis.
To get concrete with an example: the Winter Scrambling template requires only that a participant be a graduate of the Scrambling or Climbing courses. However, the standards state that "leaders may require additional prerequisites on Winter Scramble trips". A common prerequisite a leader might wish to add…

Provide Activity Feedback from participants/students to Asst. & Co- Leaders
After an activity participants are asked to provide feedback. This feedback loop is an important component of leadership development and allows leaders to learn how their approach is being received. However, Asst and Co-Leaders do not have access to this information and miss out on a valuable learning opportunity. For some, especially less experienced Asst Leaders, they may be tempted to emulate behavior they saw from a leader without the knowledge of how that was received by participants. In addition there may be comments, good or bad, about the Asst/Co- Leaders. Seems like not automatically sharing this with the entire…
