  1. Add Total Column on "View Lodge Stay Rosters" Summary Section

    In the "View Lodge Stay Rosters" "Summary" section add a "Hosts, Volunteers & Participants" column that is the sum of the "Hosts & Volunteers" + "Participants" columns.

  2. Participant Note Types

    Participant Note Types:

    Enhance participant notes capability so that users with the ability to add participant notes may select from a range of pre-determined “note types” (still to be determined, but could include “positive comment, future leader potential, conditioning issue, behavior issue, other comment”) when entering participant notes in addition to entering free text notes. Note types as well as free text become a part of a member’s profile.

    Filtering Note Types:

    This idea is closing as it did not reach enough votes/engagement over the past few years to be prioritized. Also, looking at all activities completed by members in the last year (100k+), <1% contain participant notes. While notes are important, there are not enough of them to require categorization.   3. Create functionality that allows the use of course pages to assign badges to students opting for the modular route w/ other system org wide

    As courses create a modularized option (such as Basic Alpine), and where course and committee leaders use course pages as a way to easily assign badges to students that complete all of the requirements, a way to catch or exclude repeated rosters and data points across all of our systems and for the organization as a whole is needed.

    Course leaders have requested the use of course pages as a way to more easily and efficiently assign badges themselves instead of the need to pass off to staff. However, this could create duplicate data points in our integrated software services…

  4. Include all fields in the CSV download after an activity closes GH2929

    As an admin or a leader, I would like to see all fields in the CSV download so that I can better manage courses and activities. Also reorder the fields so that like information is grouped.

  6. Add Feedback Links to Committee Roster GH2939

    On the committee roster add a column without a header and with links called "Feedback" that are visible to admins only for each leader (so there will be two links--Edit and Feedback). Clicking on the "Feedback" link opens the leader's My Feedback page details in a dialog box (aka pop-up). This should help committee administrators to more quickly review their committee's feedback leader-by-leader.

    Hello All - This idea has been reviewed internally and is going to close. While there is benefit in this idea for the committee leaders to review feedback - there is not an easy way to present the feedback links only to chairs/leaders so this change would cause confusion to the average committee member as the links would be present but not show anything.

  7. Improve Layout of Bottom Portlets GH2806

    When we have more than three bottom portlets, their layout arrangement goes "bonkers." We'd like to arrangements to work like those in the attached example.

  9. Co-leader and Mentored Leader Activity Roster Automation

    For adding to only (not editing) an activity team roster record, if the role is "Mentored leader" or "Co-leader," automatically check the "Admins" and "Show as contact" boxes.

  10. Fade the badge image (but keep on profile) when a badge expires

    Instead of removing the badge image from someone's profile when their badge expires, it would be nice to fade the image ... this would show that the badge is no longer current, but it would also provide a better snapshot "history" of that person's past participation.

  12. Use different formatting for book title and subtitle in search GH2782

    It is really messy looking at book titles in their search results view that have subtitles because its all the same big font.

  13. Backordered and Pre-ordered Books & Merchandise: Email Notification SD306

    As a site visitor. for books and merchandise items that are "out of stock," that is backordered or per-ordered, allow me to request an email notification when the item is back in stock so I can choose to purchase the item then if I still want it.

    We no longer need this because we implemented the full pre-order and backorder system.

  14. Import Events from Facebook (upgrade plone.app.events) SD628

    As Mountaineers staff I need to import events from Facebook (that I exported to a .ics file) to an "events" folder on our website so that I do not have to double enter items.

  15. Promo Codes: Offer Discount for Books Added via a Registration Process SD425

    As a person registering for a course, course activity, trip activity or an event, give me a discount on any of the books that I added to my shopping cart from the book page shown at the end of the registration process. When I'm viewing the recommended books page, during checkout it will show me the amount of discount I'll receive.

    If I have a member promo code in the same cart, whichever promo code is greater will apply (the better deal). This book promo code will apply even if I register for the course at a different time.

  16. Emergency contact person - automated emails

    It might be nice when a trip happens (not a course or seminar, just a trip) that an automated email gets sent out to everyone's emergency contact person letting them know that they're going on a trip and what to do if they don't come home. If they don't live with each other, I bet nobody ever tells their emergency contact person they're going on a trip. I don't know what the official process is, but maybe the email could say "Sally Smith is going on a 1-day trip today with the Mountaineers, if they aren't home by noon tomorrow…

  17. "Suggested Alternate Activities" when Registering for the Waitlist

    It would be great if we could have "suggested alternate activities" pop-up when someone registers for the waitlist on an activity. This might look like the page that shows of recommended books. Alternate activities would be of similar difficulty, they would have availability, and they would be open or upcoming. The hope would be to try to get folks off our waitlist and into activities with availability.

    Thank you for submitting the idea! This was reviewed and while we agree it could help some members find activities, it is unfortunately not something we are in the position to pursue at the moment. Our current plan is to prioritize improvements to our activity search filter and sorting capabilities to help members more easily find activities. We believe that this will help members find multiple activities that are relevant to them to hopefully find alternatives if an activity is on a waitlist.

  18. Make better season pass functionality for lodges

    Allow me to enter a season pass code for each person I am registering and pay for those who don't have season passes in the same transaction.

  19. Branch admins should be able to schedule an activity for any of their committee's leaders SD643

    NOTES:

    This is important for people who want to help with admin on the website but don't want to be on every single committee roster when they aren't actually doing much work regularly for that committee.

    Needs to work for scheduling, trips, clinics & seminars, and course activities.

  20. Need to add links to Branch websites under the "Branches and Committees" page of the main Mountaineers.org website

    Some of the branches, like the Olympia branch, have stand alone websites that provide much more information on their officers, committees, and activities than the main mountaineers.org website. It would be beneficial to all to clearly link the individual branch webpages to their respective branch pages under the "Branches and Committees" page of the Mountaineers.org site.
    I wasted a ton of time trying to find detailed info about the Olympia Branch on the Mountaineers.org site only to give up. I was finally told about the olympiamountaineers.org site and voila, there was all of the info I needed. A direct link…
