Request new Opportunity type for auction purchases (salesfroce)
Auction purchases are a transaction type of its own, that typically do not count as a donation. Unless the amount paid over value is $1000 or more over the value of the item, we do not consider it as part of peak society.
I've been thinking about this for years, and fully believe this will help us better track and manage a donor experience and identify / qualify someone as generally transactional in nature or philanthropic. Activity Registration Confirmation Email Change for Carbon Footprint Reduction ~Salesforce
Per conversations with Jeff and Amber, I'm submitting feedback requesting tweaks to the confirmation email registrants receive after signing up for Mountaineers trips. The conservation and development teams would like to give registrants the option to partially offset their transportation-related carbon associated with each Mountaineers trip by donating to a Mountaineers Carbon Footprint Reduction campaign. We understand that prompting for this donation in the existing registration confirmation email would be an initial way to achieve this. Funds raised from this campaign would go toward energy reduction/net-zero projects at the Seattle Program Center and other efforts to reduce the carbon footprint…

Add a donation thermometer to our donation pages to track progress SD514
Make it so our individual youth, conservation and peer to peer campaigns have front pages with a thermometer widgit that shows the campaigns progress.
9 votesThis is being closed for now. We can reopen if we ever pursue a donation platform that would provide an embedded thermometer-type graphic we could display.

Donate via a foundation online
Donors whose funds come from a foundation cannot donate online with the current system, they have to mail a check via their foundation. One new donor requested that The Mountaineers look into a way to contribute foundation funds online.

Peer to Peer (P2P) Fundraising
We are running “Your Parks | Your Adventure” as a P2P campaign in 2016 using the WeDidIt third party platform. We can use this to evaluate our need for P2P fundraising capability and determine the best system and its cost to implement and operate.
