1. Request new Opportunity type for auction purchases (salesfroce)

   Auction purchases are a transaction type of its own, that typically do not count as a donation. Unless the amount paid over value is $1000 or more over the value of the item, we do not consider it as part of peak society.

   I've been thinking about this for years, and fully believe this will help us better track and manage a donor experience and identify / qualify someone as generally transactional in nature or philanthropic. It will also allow us to easily filter out auction support from donation rollups. It will require some significant clean up of past transactions, but fully believe it will serve us in the longrun

   This idea is closing as we have solved the need creating a new 'Paid Over Value' and using that new value in our summaries.

2. Donate via a foundation online

   Donors whose funds come from a foundation cannot donate online with the current system, they have to mail a check via their foundation. One new donor requested that The Mountaineers look into a way to contribute foundation funds online.

3. Peer to Peer (P2P) Fundraising

   We are running “Your Parks | Your Adventure” as a P2P campaign in 2016 using the WeDidIt third party platform. We can use this to evaluate our need for P2P fundraising capability and determine the best system and its cost to implement and operate.
