Citizen science for stewardship

I did check in with our Conservation and Advocacy team, and unfortunately citizen scientist projects fall outside of the scope of the Stewardship Credit badge. While we recognize that these efforts could contribute to conservation efforts down the line, the intent behind the stewardship requirement is to more immediately minimize and offset the impact that we have on our public lands. For that reason, we ask folks to participate in restoration activities, trail work, or historic lookout maintenance.
