I don't think it's that difficult. I'm a new leader and I haven't had any problems creating and adding participants.

That being said, there are too many steps and checks involved. The process needs to be streamlined.

And someone needs to tell the kayak dude to VOLUNTEER->Schedule an Activity. Really not that difficult.

Agree. The website process and screens for scheduling/maintaining an activity are tortuous to follow. Some make no sense such as forcing the leader to affirm that they have leader permission to make a change. Some choices maybe relevant to the task while others are not. The desired options could be in any of several places and buried in the screen clutter. Fewer screens, better links, more complete descriptions, consistency, and unique font colors could be used. Remove large amounts of unnecessary information duplicated on each screen. I recently with through the tedious process of adding 6 names to an activity only to find, upon completion, that none of them were listed -I had been doing it wrong. In the end I went through the add participant process 20+ times to end up with the 6. I am sure frequent schedulers become familiar with the process but it is tough on new and infrequent leaders.
